Eastward: Design Works production update
We are very pleased to share that Eastward: Design Works is now feature complete. The final file is undergoing checks to ensure that it meets the high standards we have set for ourselves. This book represents the most definitive account of Eastward’s development, and it is important to us that it captures the very best of what the Pixpil team have created.
We have shared the finished book with Eastward’s developers, Pixpil, and the publisher, Chucklefish. Both teams have been very complimentary in their praise, and we can’t wait for everyone who has purchased the book to experience it for themselves.
Robert shared the following, “We are absolutely thrilled with how Eastward: Design Works turned out! This book is a heartfelt showcase of the creativity and effort that went into crafting the world of Eastward, featuring special insights, behind-the-scenes details, and even perspectives that surprised us. It also includes never-before-seen design materials. If you’re a fan of the game or love exploring the artistry behind game design, we are sure you are going to enjoy it.”
Now’s as good a time as any to share some new pages from the book! We’ve only included a small selection as we don’t want to spoil the surprise of seeing some of it for the first time, but hopefully the pages give a good indication as to what you can expect.
Thank you all for being so understanding over the last few months. The extra time taken has afforded us the opportunity to create the book we wanted to, and we are confident that you’ll feel the benefits when you see it for yourselves.
We will be in touch in the new year to share more about shipping dates, but we wanted to end the year with some good news and to thank you once again for all of your support.
